Lisette cifaldi

I am a passionate pragmatist skilled in listening and conflict resolution as a therapist and corporate consultant for over 26 years. I believe that legislation should pass the commonsense test and reflect the will of the people instead of pandering to extremists.

Jeff bradley

Jeff Bradley is a wealth manager that has supported an extremist right-wing agenda in the South Carolina House for ten years consistently ignoring the concerns of his constituents.

The Issue:

abortion rights.

Lisette cifaldi

I trust women to make the right decisions for themselves and their families and will work to restore reproductive freedom while protecting IVF and birth control.

Jeff bradley

Voted for the most extreme abortion bans including abortion bans with no exceptions for rape and incest.

    The Issue:

    common sense gun laws.

    Lisette cifaldi

I will strongly support measures in the state house to reinstate permit and training requirements for gun purchases because the safety and well-being of our communities depend on responsible gun ownership.

    Jeff bradley

Jeff Bradley supports “constitutional carry” meaning that anyone 18+ can buy a gun without a permit or required training before the gun purchase.

    The Issue:

    school vouchers.

    Lisette cifaldi

I will prioritize taxpayer dollars for public education and invest in teacher retention. It is critical that SC invest in underperforming public schools.

    Jeff bradley

Jeff Bradley supports school voucher programs with no income requirements, no prior public-school attendance, and no accountability by private schools.

    The Issue:

    birth control.

    Lisette cifaldi

I believe access to affordable birth control is crucial to allow individuals to plan their families and futures, leading to healthier outcomes for both parents and children.

    Jeff bradley

Voted against access to birth control (H.3809 & S.628). One of only 12 House legislators to vote NO to the Pharmacy Access Act that allows women to obtain a prescription for birth control from their local pharmacist..

    The Issue:

    short-term rentals.

    Lisette cifaldi

I believe that H.3253 is a government OVERREACH and usurps the power of the local municipalities to make decisions regarding short-term rentals that are right for their community. Hilton Head and Daufuskie need to maintain the power to regulate short-term rentals and would vote NO to H.3253 if elected.

    Jeff bradley

Has voiced support for H. 3253 a bill presently in committee (and likely to come up for a vote in early 2025) that would PROHIBIT any local municipalities, such as Hilton Head and Daufuskie, from enacting or enforcing any REGULATIONS or RESTRICTIONS on SHORT-TERM RENTALS.

    The Issue:

    public education.

    Lisette cifaldi

I believe public education in South Carolina is crucial because it helps address the educational disparities that exist across different regions and communities in the state.

    Jeff bradley

Jeff Bradley has stated, “Education is one of the last monopolies in the country.”

    The Issue:

school lunches for children in need.

    Lisette cifaldi

I will vote to support any funding that feeds hungry children in SC. I will ensure that all children have access to a healthy breakfast and lunch regardless of the month in the calendar year.

    Jeff bradley

Jeff Bradley did not support a bill that would have renewed the Summer EBT federal program that helps feed underprivileged children who qualified for free or reduced-priced meals during the summer months.

    The Issue:

    Medicaid expansion.

    Lisette cifaldi

When elected, I will co-sponsor legislation compelling the Governor to accept federal dollars to expand Medicaid in our state to provide accessible and affordable health care to all South Carolinians.

    Jeff bradley

Jeff Bradley opposes Medicaid expansion in South Carolina, which would provide health care coverage to 345,000 low-income South Carolinians.

    The Issue:

    book bans.

    Lisette cifaldi

I trust schoolteachers and school librarians to decide what books are appropriate for our children in concert with parents.

    Jeff bradley

Bradley sponsored initiatives to allow the SC Department of Education to institute book bans across the state.

    The Issue:

    environmental issues.

    Lisette cifaldi

I believe energy legislation should not be enacted without a thorough understanding of their costs and environmental impact.

    Jeff bradley

Bradley was one of 21 legislators in 2024 who voted for an omnibus energy bill that posed a significant threat to the environment and ratepayers in the State.

    The Issue:

    climate change.

    Lisette cifaldi

I believe climate crisis as one of the most important issues threatening South Carolina and Beaufort County.

    Jeff bradley

Jeff Bradley has never addressed climate change as a threat to our community.

    The Issue:

    transgender issues.

    Lisette cifaldi

As a psychotherapist, I understand that supporting gender-affirming care for minors is crucial for their mental and emotional well-being, as it helps alleviate gender dysphoria and reduces the risk of depression, anxiety and suicide.

    Jeff bradley

Jeff Bradley co-sponsored a bill that prohibits gender affirming care for minors, including therapy and requires schools to out any child to their parents they suspect of questioning their gender.

    The Issue:

    equal rights amendment.

    Lisette cifaldi

I support the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment to ensure that gender-based discrimination is illegal in our country.

    Jeff bradley

Jeff Bradley has stated, “I am opposed to ratifying the Equal Rights Amendment.”

    The Issue:

    campaign funding.

    Lisette cifaldi

My campaign is fueled primarily by individual donors from House District 123.

    Jeff bradley

Jeff Bradley’s campaigns have been primarily funded through corporate donations with very few individual contributions from the district he represents.
